Terms and Conditions

This is the terms and conditions which underpins the supply of our products on our online store. Please read this agreement carefully. Please make sure you understand it  before using our website. Please read this in addition to our Privacy and Cookie Policy. By using this website, you agree to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right, at our discretion to update and or revise these terms and conditions periodically as we deem fit.

2.  Contract

2.1 You, the customer, agree to use our website and order products from Quarleys Company Limited, hereinafter, “Quarleys” or “we”, under these terms and conditions and our Privacy and Cookie Policy. By using our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our terms and conditions, privacy and cookie policy. 

2.2  We reserves the right to alter the service and product offerings on our website. 

2.3  You must be at least 18 years old to place an order and be legally able to enter a contract.

2.4  You agree to provide us with personal information that will enable us to process your order such as your full name, address, e-mail address, telephone number. The information must be correct, accurate and not falsified.

2.5  You agree to us sharing your information with trusted third parties for the fulfilment of your order such as courier service providers. 

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 The product price and delivery charges will be as displayed on our online store. 

3.2 Delivery charges may include VAT, where applicable. We reserve the right to amend VAT rates to reflect any changes to the rate of VAT as required by law. 

3.3 We reserve the right to alter product prices and delivery charges at any time. 

3.4 Payments for products and delivery charges will be taken at the time of placing the order by your preferred method of payment as indicated at that time. 

4. Delivery

4.1 For orders made between Monday and Friday before 5pm, we dispatch products on the next working day.  On occasions this may be earlier. Orders placed during the weekend, will be processed the next working day. 

4.2 When your order is ready and dispatched expect delivery as indicated by your shipping preference. 

4.3 In exceptional circumstances, the expected number of days for delivery might be prolonged. 

4.4 Occasionally orders may be delayed due to adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control. We will try to notify you of any unforeseen event. 

4.5 We ship to mainland UK but will be happy to ship internationally upon request. International shipping rates will be dependent on the country the order is to be shipped to and extra charges may apply. Please contact us to discuss your international shipping needs before placing an order. 

4.6 For customers who wish to purchase in bulk please contact us before placing your order. Shipping costs will be based on where the order is to be shipped to and weight. Please contact us to discuss any bulk purchase orders as we may require more than 48 hours to produce bulk orders. 

4.5 A signature will be required for tracked delivery only. If there is no one to receive the delivery, a note with information on whether re-delivery will be arranged or where the order may be collected will be left for you. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions to ensure you receive your order.

4.7 You will be responsible for deliveries to a wrong address if you provided incorrect details at the time of placing your order. 

4.8 We advise gift items are ordered at least 7 working days before the date you wish to receive it for that special occasion. This will ensure it arrives on time even if there are delivery disruptions due to unforeseen circumstances.

4.9 We will not be held responsible for loss or damage of deliveries where the delivery driver followed instructions you provided at the time of placing your order. 

5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges 

5.1 We are unable to offer refunds or returns except when a wrong product is dispatched, or a product is faulty.  

5.2 We offer exchanges only if the wrong product was dispatched or a product is faulty. 

5.3 Products to be returned or exchanged should be done within 5 working days of receipt and should remain unopened and in the same condition it was received. We will also require proof of purchase. Please notify us by e-mail, text or telephone before returning a product. 

5.4 Shipping costs for products to be returned or refunded are non-refundable except if the returns or exchange is a result of delivery of a wrong product or faulty item. 

5.5 We do not charge shipping costs for exchanging a product or when we send the correct product after returning a faulty or wrong product. 

6. Cancellations

6.1 Order cancellations should be done within 3 hours of placing the order. This is because we may begin the order process immediately you place your order. To cancel an order please contact us by telephone to 07763 456984 or via e-mail to team@quarleys.co.uk. 

6.2 Cancellation refunds will be processed within 24 hours if the cancellation occurs during a working day. Cancellations made over the weekend or on bank holidays will be processed on the next working day. 

6.3 The time it takes to receive your refund will depend on the payment provider you used. Therefore, please allow a few days to see the refund in your account. 

6.4 We reserve the right to cancel an order in unforeseen circumstances after an order has been accepted. We will notify you of such cancellations and will refund both the purchase price and shipping cost. 

7. Third Party Rights

A person who is not party to these terms and conditions or a Contract shall not have any rights under or in connection with them.

8. General Provisions

8.1 When you place an order, these terms and conditions determines the contract between you and Quarleys.

8.2 We will only be liable to you for the purchase price and delivery cost of your order should it fail to comply with these terms and conditions. This will be subject to section 5.

8.3 This contract is governed by English Law.

8.4 If a court or competent authority deems any of the provisions of these terms and conditions invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, those terms will be severed and the remaining terms will continue to be valid.

 
8.5 We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions. Any changes made will be posted on our website and the date updated. 

8.6 We reserve the right to alter our products and services and to refuse service to a customer.
